The SIL Congress is the largest meeting of freshwater scientists worldwide and offered an incredible opportunity for me to promote my dissertation research on the impact of anthropogenic stressors on small-scale Mongolian fisheries, network with international scientists and potential collaborators, and learn about new developments in freshwater conservation research," states Chris.
