Diana Wall, Colorado State University; James Ulvestad, NSF: Thorsten Mark, NASA; Chery Rosa, USARC; David Balton, OSTP; Allan Weatherwax, MIT; Matthew Druckenmiller, NSIDC.   Sponsored by National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine. Complete details and registration here.

Ice margins in the coastal regions of the Antarctic and Arctic are changing rapidly in response to our warming climate. On June 7, the Polar Research Board will receive updates on Antarctic and Arctic activities from federal agencies, the Office of Science and Technology Policy, the Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research (SCAR) and the International Arctic Science Committee (IASC).The June 8 session of the Polar Research Board Spring Meeting will explore ice margin changes, how they affect the biodiversity and structure of ecosystems in these coastal waters, and primary knowledge gaps and research needs to better understand these linkages.
