Congratulations to RCI Affiliate, Professor George Guo!
Congratulations to RCI Affiliate, Professor George Guo! George Guo, Ph.D., P.E., professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Rutgers and an RCI affiliate and Advisory Committee member, will participate in a flood mitigation research initiative in collaboration with the Department of Environmental Protection, the Governor's Office of Recovery and Rebuilding, and five other colleges and universities across the state. According to Dr. Guo, the team at Rutgers “will draw on expertise of our professors, research staff and students to develop solutions designed to make New Jersey more resilient to flooding.” Other participating educational institutions include Stevens University, NJIT, Stockton College, Monmouth University, and Montclair State University. Ann Marie Carlton, assistant professor of Atmospheric Chemistry at Rutgers and an RCI affiliate, turned to the Rutgers Center for Digital Filmmaking to document her research on the slow pace of atmospheric warming in parts of the Southeast United States relative to global trends.Tenure-track position
